| Abstract | ||
| The research aims to: - Identifying the values of a several of kinematic variables for frontal set shooting at the moment of releasing the ball with and without a barrier for female basketball players. - Identifying the differences between a several of kinematic variables for frontal set shooting at the moment of releasing the ball with and without a barrier for female basketball players. To verify the objectives the researcher hypothesized the following: - There are significant differences between ta several of kinematic variables for frontal set shooting at the moment of releasing the ball with and without a barrier for female basketball players. The descriptive approach in causal comparison was used, the research community consisted of female basketball players 20-30 years old, 16 female players represented the research community, and the research sample consisted of 8 female players, they were chosen by the intentional way which represented 50% of the community. The experiment was filmed on Friday, 3/6/2022, in Akad Ankawa Sports Club Hall, using a scale drawing with a length of 1meter and two Sony cameras with a speed of 100/fps. According to the results the researcher reached the following conclusions: 1- Values of the kinematic variables of the frontal set shooting are affected at the moment of releasing by the presence of the barrier. 2- With the presence of the barrier, the player changed the position of the body according to what suits the change in the presence of the passive defender. | ||
