Abstract
God has singled out this nation of Muhammad by legislating for them to build mosques, strive to build them, compete in them, and designate them for types of worship that are not valid in others. Because of the importance of mosques in this law, our Lord, Blessed and Almighty, commanded that they be preserved and cared for, and that the utmost warning against their destruction was given. However, after the emergence of the Takfiri ideology that spread corruption in the land, and not even places of worship were spared from their evils, they destroyed hundreds of mosques and places of worship in the areas that they controlled in Iraq and elsewhere. From neighboring countries, may God make it easy for us to place this humble effort in the hands of the honorable reader by explaining the extent of the destruction and damage to places of worship in Nineveh Governorate during the control of Takfiri terrorist groups and warning of their ideas, which have spread corruption on the earth, and God is the Granter of success.
