| Abstract | ||
| The flag is one of the national symbols that represents the sovereignty of the state. Therefore, any attack in any form that represents an insult to the flag represents an assault and insult to the state that this flag represents, whether this insult is issued by the nationals of the same state by another state. Assaults on the state’s flag have several Images that all involve under the name of insult, such as tearing the flag, burning it, or spitting on it. Among these images, lowering the flag is considered an act prohibited by law, and it is not permissible for it to be lowered except in cases that require lowering it, because lowering it indicates sadness and brokenness, so it is not permissible except in times when the country is going through situations. Sadness and brokenness if its laws allow this, but if it does not allow this behavior, then it is not permissible to lower the flag at half-mast even in these cases. | ||
