The research shows that existential philosophy is one of the modern and contemporary Western philosophies, which emphasizes absolute individual freedom, and rejects any restriction or definition of it from any party, so it contains multiple and inconsistent intellectual and political contents, and the research is organized into two sections, in addition to an introduction and a conclusion, the first lesson: Existential philosophy: concept and origin, and the second revealed: the political intellectual implications of existentialism: freedom and choice. The research hypothesis is based on a main idea: (Existential philosophy contains intellectual and political contents, based on absolute freedom and individual choice, so these contents were characterized by pluralism and inconsistency). For the purpose of answering the two research questions, and based on its hypothesis, we will rely on the deductive approach and the descriptive approach to understand and research existential philosophy and its political intellectual implications. In the human sciences, including political science, and political thought in particular, there is no agreement among thinkers, philosophers, and researchers on definitions of concepts, but rather there is diversity and disagreement. Because of the different cultural, intellectual, and political orientations of these thinkers, philosophers, and researchers, there are multiple definitions of concepts, although this conceptual pluralism does not prevent conceptual commonalities, and this applies to the concept of existential philosophy. |
