| Whereas the contemporary concept of security is based on the integration of economic, developmental, cyber, social, military and diplomatic dimensions to achieve what is called sustainable security to confront the emerging challenges that target individuals and societies, and to prevent the recurrence of such challenges in the future, especially since human security has changed the focus of states on preserving their existence, survival and stability to Ensuring the development of development strategies to ensure the prosperity and well-being of individuals, and to ensure their freedom from fear, poverty, destitution, poor education, and lack of social justice, all of which lead individuals to violent extremism. Therefore, Iraq, as of 2014, is in dire need of such a security approach in light of the multiple challenges that it faces. It targets Iraqi national security with multiple dimensions. It is to determine the danger and repercussions of violent extremism that leads to terrorism on the security and stability of Iraq, and what are the circumstances and data that contributed to the emergence of extremist organizations in Iraq in 2014, and what are the reasons that contributed to their survival despite the defeat of the ISIS terrorist organization at the hands of the Iraqis. |
