Abstract
In recent years, there has been a lot of action by the Security Council due to the insistence of one country on taking a position and the opposition of the rest of the permanent members for one reason or another. Some believed that this approach of the Security Council was a positive development in order to establish the foundations of world peace. However, others viewed this approach with suspicion and skepticism. He believes that it represents a serious deviation in the behavior of the Security Council towards dealing with international crises, as they question the legitimacy of some Security Council decisions issued in some crises or conflicts, due to their conflict with the rules of international law, due to one of the permanent member states being alone in making its decision, far from legality. This study provides an analysis of the tasks carried out by the Security Council in managing international crises in light of the international system with multipolar, bipolar, and unipolar systems, and to understand how the international crisis is managed according to each of these structural patterns, as well as to understand the behavior of major powers and their awareness of the limits of the influence of these poles.
