Abstract
The Organisation of Turkish States (OTS), led by Turkey, seeks to enhance cooperation and coordination between member states in order to achieve security and stability in the region, in addition to its quest for economic and political cooperation between member states, as the OTS, through the goals it seeks to achieve, aspires to be one of the organisations that have weight in the international system and stand up to challenges and deal with them, as these countries have tried since declaring their independence in 1991, to cooperate in many fields, including economic and political, to achieve their deteriorating situation. Political cooperation is one of the main objectives of the Organization of Turkic States. The organization aims to enhance cooperation and coordination among member states in the field of political affairs, and to enhance mutual trust among them. The organization also seeks to promote common positions on international political issues, and to work together to solve the problems and challenges faced by member states. The mechanism used for political cooperation among member states is the annual summits of heads of state, and the organization works to deepen multilateral political cooperation
