| Abstract | ||
| The Red Sea conflict is characterized by great legal and political complexities, as the region is located at a vital crossroads linking East and West, making it a point of international concern. The region witnessed several violations of international law during the conflicts that took place in it, especially human rights violations that included attacks on civilians, arbitrary arrests, and torture in some conflicts, as well as illegal military actions. The region witnessed military interventions by external forces, often without authorization from the United Nations. Or with the consent of local governments, which raises questions about the legality of these interventions under international law. Also, the case of piracy and maritime attacks has also witnessed intense maritime piracy activity, especially off the coast of Somalia. These activities represent a violation of international law, as they threaten freedom of navigation and international trade, among other things. Violations. The research problem is to study the extent of international legal violations occurring within the framework of the conflict in the Red Sea, and to assess the extent to which the military and naval activities of the conflicting states are compatible with international law, which requires an analysis of potential violations in areas such as human rights, maritime sovereignty, and protection of the marine environment. | ||
