Abstract
The study aims to: Identify the values of several kinematic variables for frontal shooting from a static position with and without a barrier at the moment of ball release for female basketball players. Identify the values of shooting accuracy for frontal shooting from a static position with and without a barrier for female basketball players. Identify the relationship between several kinematic variables for frontal shooting from a static position with and without a barrier at the moment of ball release and shooting accuracy for female basketball players. To achieve the research objectives, the researchers hypothesized the following: There is a relationship between several kinematic variables for frontal shooting from a static position with and without a barrier at the moment of ball release and shooting accuracy for female basketball players. The researcher used the descriptive method with a correlational approach for its suitability and the nature of the research. The research community consisted of female basketball players from Akad Ankawa Club in Erbil Governorate in the women's category (20-30 years old), with a total number of 16 players. The research sample consisted of 8 players, selected intentionally, representing 50% of the community. The researcher concluded the following: There is a statistically significant relationship between the angle of the right and left knee joints at the moment of release and the values of shooting accuracy for frontal shooting from a static position without a barrier. There is no statistically significant relationship between other studied variables and shooting accuracy for frontal shooting from a static position with and without a barrier.
