| Abstract | ||
| From 2011 to 2024, the motives, dimensions, and objectives of the presence of US forces in Syria reflect multiple developments. The motives include enhancing national security and combating terrorism, while the dimensions are affected by regional balances and international alliances. As for the objectives, they include supporting local partners and enhancing stability in the region. This summary is based on data-driven analyses to provide a comprehensive view of the future of the US military presence in Syria during the mentioned period. The importance of studying the future of the US military presence in Syria lies in understanding the motives, dimensions, and potential objectives of this presence, and how it affects regional, international, and humanitarian policies. The problem: What are the factors that affect the future of the presence of US military forces in Syria and how do the motives, dimensions, and objectives associated with this presence vary? Study hypothesis: This study assumes that the United States faces multiple political and security challenges in Syria that require the continuation of its military presence in the country. The study also aims to analyze the main motives and various dimensions of the presence of US forces in Syria, including their impact on US national security and regional and international dynamics. | ||
