Abstract
Iraqi foreign policy stems from basic perceptions of the facts of reality, and the determinants of power and influence, and then the response to the components of reality and sources of influence comes in the form of a specific plan that meets the requirements of each stage, and here the country's foreign policy is determined, which is based on specific elements of power, resources, political system, etc. Turkey is one of the most important regional parties in terms of effectiveness and influence on Iraq, so Iraqi foreign policy towards Turkey has become determined by the factors and facts of reality and the future. Despite the absence of a specific strategy for Iraq's foreign policy as a result of internal and external circumstances and challenges, including those related to the challenge of role, status and existence, its features have begun to take shape towards the region in light of the changing roles of actors in the regional environment and the transformations of Iraqi politics. This research addresses the subject of Iraq's foreign policy, specifically the orientations of this policy towards Turkey, the effective regional power that has a set of elements of power that have made it appear as an important and pivotal player in the Iraqi regional and internal equation.
