Abstract
The research aims to reveal the differences in Development of a number of Basic Skills for experimental group players between pre and post-tests, the differences in Development of a number of Basic Skills for control group players between pre and post-tests, the differences in a number of physical variables between experimental and control groups in post-test. Researchers used experimental method for its appropriateness for research nature. Experiment was done on a sample of (28) players from Zakho club( youth category) . (28 ) players (under 19) years. Players were divided into two groups (experimental and control) with (10) players for each group, (3) players were excluded for being goalkeepers, as well as (5) others. Homogeneity was done through (Levene's) test for (age, height, mass, training age) variables, Basic Skills, and equivalence in Basic Skills according to specialists, an experimental design called randomized control group design was adopted. researchers used (spss) program to process data. Researchers concluded that small side games preceded by physical exercises used by experimental group achieved a development in all Basic Skills for its members, better than control group when comparing results of Post-tests. Researchers recommend necessity of paying more attention to side games proceeded by physical exercises by coaches
