Abstract
The first thing that can be recorded about the article is that its title was formulated to justify the connection between its two parts; the first refers to Syria entering a new phase, not only in the transformation from one republic to another, but to confirm the existence of a transformation in its nature, relations, and even in its positions and general policy, to link - then - the transformation to the transformations that are coming in the Middle East and in the whole world, in the changes in the map of powers, their balances, and their position within the framework of establishing global hegemony and the changes in regional hegemony, which makes the transformation in Syria closely related to it, if not driven by it entirely. The article, which is described by the consistency of its axes and cognitive horizons, came to present a sequence of events related to the fall of the "Bashar al-Assad regime", in an attempt to place it within the framework of its regional and international contexts, which are described as intertwined, which is likely to be complex and complicated. One sentence, which justifies the writer’s handling of it “in a way that is described as analytical; and linking it to its historical context, as the article touches on the dimensions of the conflict; pointing to its beginnings, and ending with the moment
