| Since ancient times, human groups have witnessed conflicts among themselves, and the causes of conflicts have varied, but its results and the humanitarian, social, economic, and security impacts it leaves behind remain a matter of interest to scholars and stakeholders alike. Conflicts involve multiple parties. There are internal conflicts, external conflicts, and between two or several parties. There are also many reasons that push parties to engage in conflicts, and we have discussed the most important reasons and allegations as justifications for the conflict. It is extremely difficult to pinpoint a specific reason for the conflict, as many reasons for entering into the conflict may combine and overlap. Since we have considered the conflict in Sudan as a model for our study, we have considered and divided the causes of the conflict into internal and external. How did some external parties contribute to causing the conflict to prolong it, extending their hands towards the will, sovereignty and entity of Sudan, with the help of internal parties? What are the repercussions of the conflict on the Sudanese interior, as well as its effects on the regional and international environment? We include the most important scenarios that could occur or be expected, as well as a conclusion with the conclusions of our study. |
