| Abstract | ||
| Abstract Background Poly methyl methacrylate is one of the most common used denture base material this material undergo to many improvement throughout many years to enhance their physical and mechanical properties . computerized dentistry enter the prosthetic dentistry field such as additive manufacturing technique. Aim of the study : to evaluate the effect of using different type of denture teeth on the shear bond strength as well as the effect of different surface treatment on the Shear bond strength of 3D printing denture base materials. Materials and method: a total of 120 specimens were prepared for the shear bond strength test each group is divided into three groups according to the type of artificial teeth used (acrylic,3D printed and composite ) teeth for 3D printed denture base. each group of teeth is divided into four groups according to the surface treatment used ( control, air abrasive, bur roughening and dichloromethane) surface treatment. the study data where statistically analyzed by using one-way ANOVA and Duncan multiple analysis range test was used to compare mean value among groups. Results : there is no significant difference in all three types of teeth while the shear bond strength of all type of teeth treated with air abrasive and dichloromethane are higher than control group Conclusion : the use of any type of teeth have no any significant difference we can increase the shear bond strength by using dichloromethane and air abrasive surface treatment. | ||
