Abstract
Summary Comedy aims to arouse laughter in the recipient, as it works to highlight the negative issues of society’s reality in general, with a sarcastic framework aimed at blaming and reproaching. Therefore, it calls for releasing the anger and discontent of the masses about the factor that angers them through humor of all kinds, and comedy seeks to create fun and laughter. Through it, a person can reach the point that he reduces the factor of discontent and minimizes it in a way that arouses the laughter of the masses. It relies primarily on rejection, as rejection is one of the best tools for soft power to confront attacks and verbal wars, thus reaching the point of destroying the prestige of the attacker. It also uses rebellion, which means disobedience and refusal to obey orders and not implement them, which It is a means of expressing pent-up anger in a person’s soul, making him reject a certain way of life or reject another negative opinion. Therefore, any dismissive comedic message he wants to deliver will not be taken seriously because it has been minimized in a comedic way, as it limits the possibility of recruiting the target groups and influencing the spirit. The morale of the attackers and distracting their thinking, instead of focusing on systematic attack, the focus will be on defense.
