Abstract
The Research Idea addresses identifying rank of the term “Good Opinion of a person” of hadith scholars and impact of this term on adjusting and discrediting of narrators. Significance of this research lies in the fact that such term was stated in writings of several early critics. The research problem lies in the impact of this term on weighting judgment of a narrator, subject of dispute, by critics, and accepting or denying its narration. Objective of this research is to identify the level of this term, while identifying its equivalent of the well-known adjustment terms and whether this term relied upon in adjustment of narrators or not. This Research follows the applied approach. One of the most significant outcomes concluded by the research is that the term “Good opinion of a person” is falls into the four renowned adjustment ranks mentioned by scholars.
