Abstract
The study aimed to know the effect of using some Nutritional Supplements ( NS) and Testosterone Hormone on blood parameters and HbA1C% in the blood serum of male rats . 80 male albino rats were used , divided into 8 groups, each group 10 rats. The control group , a group was trained to exercise using a treadmill, a group was treated with the NS only , a group was injected with testosterone only, a group was dosed with the NS and injected with testosterone , a group was dosed with the NS and exercised, a group was injected with testosterone and exercise, a group was dosed with the NS and injected with testosterone and exercise. Our results showed a significant decrease in the number of RBCS ,WBCs , Hb concentration, PCV% in the group of rats treated with the NS and testosterone, with a significant increase in platelets and HbA1C% compared to the rest groups at the probability level P≤(0.01), while exercise led to a significant increase in the numbers of ( RBCs , WBCs Hb, PCV%) with a significant decrease in the numbers of Platelets and HbA1C% compared to the treated and non-exercise groups. We conclude from this that treatment with the NS and testosterone hormone used in sports training centers has negative effects on various blood parameters and HbA1C%, while exercise led to a positive improvement in these parameters as well as HbA1C%, which indicates that the groups practicing exercise have better control over this parameters .
