Abstract
The research deals with the study of one of the expressive forms of the connected link, which is (semi-sentence) with its components (preposition, prepositional phrase, and adverb), to find out the nature of this expression with Al-Mutanabbi poetry, and the function provided by the text, and the effectiveness of the semi-sentence in achieving the appropriate evidence, and we have chosen from each kind of the characters or from the adverbs verse; The first is for the preposition and the prepositional phrase, and the second: for the semi-sentence, and we have preceded them with a preface in which we explain the concept of the connected link, its classifications, and the nature of the allocation of the connected semi-sentence, and its conditions for use, and the resources on which we relied were the explanations of the Diwan, linguistic dictionaries, grammar books, interpretation, rhetoric, and Allah is the supporter.and thank Allah the god of everything.
