| Abstract | ||
| Turkey contributed efforts on several levels to stop the war, whether on the diplomatic or military level, providing humanitarian aid, establishing demilitarized zones, issuing resolutions through the UN Security Council, and finally establishing an international court concerned with prosecuting war criminals who participated in that war, Turkey also had a clear role through the United Nations and the international community. These positions were multiple, some of which were within the diplomatic activity, especially at the beginning of the events, through the United Nations and the UN Security Council, and some of which were military through NATO and its participation with military forces despite the marginal role of this participation. | ||
