Abstract
This research examines intellectual extremism and its impact on societal stability. Intellectual extremism is no longer merely a temporary phenomenon or a trait that appears and fades easily; rather, it has become a tangible reality affecting individuals and social institutions alike. Intellectual extremism is not solely dependent on the social structure but is also shaped by environmental factors, fluctuating in intensity based on the reasons for its emergence and the extent of interaction and influence of these factors. Intellectual extremism refers to exceeding the bounds of moderation and balance in human thought, potentially leading to behaviors that harm both individuals and society across political, economic, social, and cultural spheres. Those who adopt extremist ideologies often believe they possess absolute truth, creating a gap between them and the social fabric to which they belong. Therefore, intellectual extremism is considered a serious phenomenon that poses a threat to societal stability. So we will try to explain these matters in the research.
