Abstract
Abstract : Background: Testicular swelling in animal must be treated as serious dangerous condition , it may be resulted from many of conditions such as Bacterial , Viral , Fungal infection and testicular neoplasia may also occur. Case description and clinical signs: the case history was buck show sign of unilateral testicular enlargement , the general condition was good , the sexual desire could not be estimated because it was out of the reproductive season. Testicular swelling in bucks has many causes, two of the most common are inflammation and infection. Orchitis, peri- orchitis and epididymitis-etiology Orchitis, peri- orchitis and epididymitis are commonly of infectious origin and by organisms such as Brucella spp. Diagnosis : Ultrasonography had been done to detect any form tissue formation and assessed the testicular tissue . Histopathological assessment had been done by taking biopsy from the infected testes using biopsy gun. According to the results of ultrasonographic examination and histopathological test of testicular tissue we diagnosed this case as chronic inflammation (Orchitis ) with granulation tissue formation . Treatment : The surgical treatment represent the best choice to deal with such case so that Orchidectomy of infected testes had been done
