Abstract
The research aims mainly to study the concept of Arab political thought and to clarify the most important factors influencing it, as well as to identify the most important ideologies, which are nationalism and democracy. Arab political thought and the most important opinions and ideas that it is interested in were studied, as well as to identify the most important factors that affect and are affected by it, especially belief and tribe, as well as to address nationalism as a belief and thought, as well as democracy and democratic transformation in Arab political thought through the analytical and descriptive approach by analyzing political opinions and ideas and describing intellectual ideologies. The main problem was clarified, which is Arab political thought and the reality in which it lives, by addressing the most important ideologies in it and focusing on the importance of Arab political thought, Arab nationalism and democratic transformation. Consequently, the results reached the conclusion that all the deterioration and decline that Arab political thought is experiencing is due to the political reality and political problems that Arab society suffers from as a whole, and therefore it is necessary to focus on these problems and find solutions to address them.
