| Abstract | ||
| The prelude is one of the most important parts to the Arabic poem, and the first destination for receiving meanings, themes, and imagery. It is a phenomenon that has accompanied Arabic poetry since its inception, and its forms have diversified, expanded, and extended. The research aims to reveal the objective vision presented by the poet, Shihab al-Din al-Azzazi in the prelude. He made it an active, organic part of the opening of his poetic discourse to achieve communication with the recipient and ensure the continuity of the poetic impact. The importance of the research is evident in linking the artistic form in the poetic discourse with its function on the one hand, and the themes and objective vision on the other, moving from formal description of development and sustainability to the objective, systematic analysis governing the experience. The research adopted the descriptive integrative approach by tracing the preludes of the poems, describing their characteristics and themes, by examining the structure, the results of their meaning, their internal relationships, and their contextual connections. The research came in four demands preceded by a procedural introduction to the first concept (the objective vision of the love poem prelude), the second (the objective vision of the ruins poem prelude), the third (the objective vision of the complaint poem prelude), the fourth (the objective vision of the wine poem prelude). | ||
