| Abstract | ||
| This analytical study aim at the legislative jurisdictions of the Iraqi House of Representatives and its Law No. 13 of 2018 to clarify the nature of these jurisdictions and their harmony with the constitutional texts, as well as their application of these texts in its internal regulation and scope of effectiveness of the Federal Supreme Court’s oversight of Parliament’s enforcement of its legislative jurisdiction . The study shows that the parliament has added to its jurisdictions a power that may be appropriate in managing its internal affairs within the issuance of legislative decisions. However, this jurisdiction in its general framework it does not become but an action devoid of any supposed legal principle for the law in its general sense, which takes this matter out of its natural course in exercising legislative work. The Federal Supreme Court upheld in its ruling that indicated Parliament’s commitment to the provisions of the Constitution. | ||
