| Abstract | ||
| This research addresses the topic of (legal regulation of barcodes in Iraqi legislation), which is considered a manifestation of modern information and communications technology witnessed in developed countries, which is of great importance due to the advantages and characteristics that this technology has that prompted many government agencies to adopt it in issuing their documents that carry the barcode. By scanning it, it is possible to verify the authenticity and integrity of the document that it carries, so the document that carries it has become of a special nature between the electronic document, which is electronic in its content, reading, and signing, and the paper document, which is a traditional paper document in terms of its physical presence, but it supports In an encrypted image (barcode) to ensure its integrity using electronic technology using a scanner,Then, this research addresses the technical and legal aspects of barcode technology to come up with important proposals and recommendations in establishing an effective legal framework for barcode technology in Iraqi legislation. | ||
