| Abstract | ||
| This study derives its significance from the intrinsic value of children in nation-building, focusing on the 'right to healthcare' as a fundamental legal and national entitlement that must be guaranteed free of charge and in accordance with the highest quality standards Although the legislator has addressed physical and mental health aspects within general legal frameworks and dedicated specific provisions to children, reality indicates that this right remains one of the most vulnerable to violation. This is primarily attributed to the weakness of oversight mechanisms and the fragmentation of legal protection across scattered legislative texts that lack thematic cohesion Accordingly, the study recommends the urgent enactment of a unified and comprehensive Child Rights Law that provides a precise and inclusive definition of the child. It also emphasizes the necessity of extending health protection to include the 'fetal stage,' as it represents the cornerstone of the child’s future health, and calls for incorporating this stage into the legal scope of childhood to ensure integrated care starting from the very first moments of conception. | ||
