| Abstract | ||
| Turkeys interest in the African continent increased after the Justice and Development Party came to Power, Formor than Two decades, it has been working to strengthen its presence in Africa, especially the Horn of Africa, despite internal and external challenges, Since 2005,Turkey has begun building long- term influence, far from the classic models of power .Instead of direct intervention or neo-colonialism, Turkey presents practical projects that achieve its interests and do not contradict the interests of other countries, nor impose exorbitant political costs on them. This is within a well- thought- out strategy based on a number of tools , manifested in the blending of security, economic ,and military partnerships with its soft Power and in the development of its economic, investment, and trade relations with the countries of the Horn of Africa. In addition to the introduction, the research is divided into three sections. The first section covers the objectives of Turkish foreign policy in the Horn of Africa, while the second section addresses the tools of Turkish foreign policy in the region. The third section examines the determinants of Turkish policy in the Horn of Africa and opportunities for strengthening influence there. The research concludes with a summary and conclusions. | ||
