| Abstract | ||
| This study aims to explore the intellectual and aesthetic transformations that shaped contemporary Arabic poetry –specially the Iraqi- after the COVID-19 pandemic. Through a critical analytical approach, it examines poetic texts that address the intertwined notions of life, death, and human existence within the context of a global crisis. The research reveals that the pandemic shifted Iraqi poetry from collective and political expression toward philosophical reflection on survival and mortality. It also shows a linguistic transition from rhetorical emotionalism to symbolic brevity and contemplative stillness. Consequently, Iraqi poetry acquired a profound existential dimension that redefined its aesthetic and human role as a means of resisting nihilism and restoring the meaning of being. | ||
