| Abstract | ||
| State and privat academic institutions are both a expident for investing money in developing human resources in any society. These institutions ecerxces its original duty of learing and scientific reseach, as well as other commercial activites, such as technology- transfer and other sorts of commercial actions. it may also engage into partenerships with investors in other economic sectors, with a view of facilitate its original purpose . An exaggeration in exercise commercial actions, may arise an anaxity about the possibility of that academic institutions may devege from its cordinal goal of learning and scientific research, and then shaping gragually a merchant. The Private Higher Education Act No.(25) of 2016 reinforces tacitly such invision by reason of its failer in idenfication its scientific goals and determine the legal office of private institutions This article will be dealt with the sorts of commercial to be done by the private academic institutions, and envisions presented about their legal office, by a legal and analytical study of Iraqi law. Suggestions about how to reform Iraqi law will be presented. | ||
