| Abstract | ||
| This study aims to highlight the role of the United Nations, as the largest and most important organization in the international system, in disseminating knowledge globally. It focuses on its most prominent knowledge arm, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). The study also examines UNITAR's activities in knowledge dissemination, including its core activities such as courses, discussions, and all other knowledge-based events, which are tailored to the demands of the modern era. A central question posed by this study is the extent to which UNITAR can effectively govern the knowledge process worldwide, particularly in developing and impoverished countries that need to develop their national workforces. The study posits that UNITAR has made acceptable progress in this area through its training programs, especially its digital programs, and its institutional partnerships around the world. The study employs a methodological approach based on the liberal-institutional framework, which prioritizes the work of international institutions within the contemporary international system. | ||
