Abstract
Abstract This research explores the legal and technical framework of attacks on Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems through unauthorized use. The significance of this study stems from the fact that AI systems are not merely traditional computer programs; rather, they are complex software entities relying on algorithms and training data. Consequently, attacks on these systems transcend traditional copying, involving deeper concepts such as reverse engineering and substantive content modification. This research focuses on three primary forms of illicit use: Unauthorized Copying and Adaptation: Exploiting the system to produce an identical program through decoding techniques or reverse engineering. Substantial Modification of Content: Reprogramming the system to alter its original purpose. Violation of Trade Secrets and Industrial Design. In researching the topic of unauthorized use of artificial intelligence systems and applications, we adopted the analytical approach. We did not limit ourselves to theoretical analysis, but rather used the comparative approach by extrapolating legislative texts in several legal systems to ensure the comprehensiveness of the presentation whenever the need arose.
