| The experiment was carried out in the field and lath-house of the Horticulture Department, Agricultural Engineering Science College, University of Duhok, Duhok, Iraq in the spring season from 15 March to 15 September 2024. It investigated the effect of shading levels (0 and 50%), spraying with different concentrations of salicylic acid: (0, 100, and 200 mg. L-1), and different concentrations of nano-NPK (0, 5, and 10 mg. L-1) on the growth performance of the Lippia nodiflora plant under Dohuk governorate conditions. The experiment used the factorial randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three factors, with each treatment replicated tree times. The results indicated that the Lippia plant under 50% shading recorded the highest values for plant density (14.07 plant 100 cm-2), leaf area (1.98 cm2), mowing number (2.63), total chlorophyll content (20.46 mg g f. w.-1), total nitrogen (2.39%), and total potassium (1.32%). Meanwhile, the 0% level of shade produced a highly significant cumulative dry weight of clippings (193.03 g), root dry weight (12.66 g), total carbohydrate (15.21%), and phosphor concentration (0.20%). The plants sprayed with salicylic acid at 200 mg L-1 led to significant increases in leaf area (1.98 cm2), cumulative dry weight of clipping (199.95 g), root dry weight (13.72 g), total chlorophyll (20.92 mg g f. w.-1), and total carbohydrate (15.49%). Spraying with 100 mg L-1 SA led to significant increases in plant density, mowing numbers, and in nitrogen, phosphor, and potassium concentrations. The use of nano- NPK at 10 mg L-1 concentration resulted in significant effect in plant density (15.06 plant 100 cm-2), leaf area (1.85 cm2), mowing number (2.44), root dry weight (13.80 g). and nitrogen concentration (2.47%) in the plants |
