| Abstract | ||
| This research includes preparation of Licorice extract by using two different solvents such as distilled water and absolute ethanol. Some qualitative analyses have been carried out, they indicate the presence of carbohydrates, phenols, flavonoids, lipids saponin, alkaloids and, and the aqueous extract showed amphoteric characteristics.Moreover, this research includes estimation of carbohydrates and extraction of lipids in Licorice roots.
