| Abstract | ||
| The aim of this investigation to study the effect of different salinity concentrations (0,5,10,15,20,25,and30)mg/l,and different levels of pH(3,4,6,7.5,9,10,and12)on the growth of Oscillatoria agardhii,which was isolate from shatt-AL-Arab river/Basrah city. After getting the pure isolation of algal were studied under the laboratory condition . Chlorophyll (A) was used as indicator of the growth rate of algal every three days of experiment along (15)days. the results were shows that, the optimum concentrations of salts lies between (1-15)mg/l for algal growth ,whereas ,the other concentrations above (15)mg/l caused a decrease in algal growth ,also the optimum growth of algal was between (7.5-9) of pH and the growth inhibited at pH(6) and (9),and the large biomass (5.983)mg/l was obtained at 12 days of growth. Key Words: Cyanobacteria,Oscillatoria agardhii, salinity,pHالخلاصة يهدف هذا البحث الى دراسة تأثيرتراكيز مختلفة من الملوحة (0 ،50 ، 100 ، 150 ، 200 ، 250 و300 ملي موز) ومستويات مختلفة من الدالة الحامضية (3 و4 و6 و7.5 و9و12) على نمو الطحلب Oscillatoria agardhii . الذي عزل من نهر شط العرب في مدينة البصره ،وتحت الظروف المختبرية،وبعد الحصول على عزلة وحيدة الطحلب ونقية. أعتمد الكلورفيل –أ كدليل لقياس معدل نمو الطحلب كل يومين من التجربة ولمدة عشرة أيام.أظهرت النتائج ان التراكيز المثالية لنمو الطحلب Oscillatoria agardhii . تقع بين (0 -150 ملي موز) ، .بينما انخفض نمو الطحلب عند التراكيز المرتفعة أكثر من15 ملغم/لتر أدت إلى اختزال نمو الطحلب .كما ثبط نمو الطحلب عند قيم الأس الهيدروجيني pH الأقل من 6 والأكثر من 9 وكانت القيم المثالية للنمو تقع بين 7.5 -9 إذ بلغت أعلى كتلة حية للطحلب 5,983 ميكروغرام/لتر في اليوم العاشر من النمو. | ||
