Abstract
يواجه العراق صعوبات وتحديات كبيرة في محاولة سعيه لتحقيق أمنه الغذائي ، ويحاول هذا البحث التركيز على تأثير ثلاثة مشاكل أساسية تعيق تحقيق الأمن الغذائي في القطر ، وهي الواقع المتخلف للقطاع الزراعي وعجزه عن تأمين السلع الزراعية ، وكذلك مشكلة الموارد المائية التي باتت تتفاقم يشكل خطير بسبب العامل المناخي وقيام الدول المتشاطئة بحرمان العراق من حقه الطبيعي في نهري دجلة والفرات ، إضافة إلى ارتفاع ظاهرة التصحر التي تهدد الأراضي الزراعية وتقلصها ، وتؤثر بشكل كبير على تحقيق الأمن الغذائي في العراق .
