Abstract
Thin film of cadimum oxide of different thickness were prepared by the method of chemical spray pyrolsis deposition on glass substates which were heated to (773k) . The nature of crystallization of these films was examined by x- ray diffraction technigue which showed that the prepared thin films are polycrystalline . The spectra were analyzed and other optical parameters were investigated such as optical absorption coefficient , energy band gap , refractive index , extinction coefficient , real and imaginary part of dielectric constant as afunction of photon energy and the reflection from the surface of the prepared thin films were investigated too.
