| Since the signing of an agreement on the principles of interim self-government in Washington on 13/9/1993 between the PLO and Israel following the Oslo negotiations in the year after Jordan signed a peace treaty with Israel on 26/10/1994 breakthrough occurred in the German-Israeli relations. Has helped change attitudes towards Arab recognition of Israel and to end the confusion in the German political relations with Israel, Germany, where he was to take into account the special relationship with them because of the Nazi past and to take into account the Arab and Palestinian rights under international law. And will remain détente and the normalization of German-Israeli relations is linked to developments in the peace process in the Middle East. | ||
