| Attracted the issue of agriculture, food, great attention in the Arab world in recent times, and not the source of this concern that food is the essence of man's struggle to survive, but perhaps the failure of efforts to overcome the problem of food experienced by the Arab world has increased the need to assess and review all the efforts made in solve the problem of food and agricultural sector development, while in Iraq has entered a situation of agriculture and food critical stage was the growing demand for agricultural products and food in addition to high food prices in world markets and reduce the relative importance of the agricultural sector in the economic structure of Iraq earlier, has resulted in this situation exacerbate the food deficit and therefore resort to foreign sources to meet this deficit. | ||
