| Abstract | ||
| The agricultural sector is of key sectors in the Iraqi economy, which occupies its contribution in the formation of gross national important position among the other sectors, if we exclude the oil sector. And Agriculture in Iraq employs about 28% of national employment in 2003 and live on agriculture for 32% of the total population of Iraq during the said year (). In spite of Agriculture in Iraq is one of the oldest known human on Earth was considered the main factor in the establishment of ancient civilizations on the land of Mesopotamia, but they have not benefited from all this cultural heritage, which dates back for thousands of years of agricultural activity, which was supplying Iraqi human food over the those times, instead of its development have fallen significantly in the present age are not able to meet the growing needs of the Iraqi population, estimated in 2003 around 26.5 million people (). . | ||
