| Abstract | ||
| Most of the time the researcher confronts a decrease in the experimental units required when applying a certain design, this problem appears especially when conducting the factorial experiments which mostly need great numbers of experimental units, to overcome the decrease of the experimental units three incomplete block designs have been used in order to point out which one is best and to know as well the extent of the influence of a number of experimental units on the results of statistical analysis. A factorial experiment 23 has been conducted on the dry weight of lentil seeds (mg/10 plants) and the experiment factors adopted are: the method of plantation, the locran herbicide and the soil moisture. The experiment of the randomized complete block design has been applied in seven blocks and considered as comparative experiment, from this experiment, the following incomplete block designs have been created were: the balanced incomplete block design, complete confounding and partial confounding. | ||
