Abstract
Abstract
The study was conducted in laboratories of the College of Agriculture /University of Kufa to evaluate the effectiveness of three elements (Plant extracts, Antibiotics and Bacillus cereus) to protect potato tubers from soft rot disease which is caused by Erwinia carotovora SubSp. Carotovora ,then it was tested the effect of four plant extracts(Garlic extract , Nerium extract, Syrina rue extract and Eucalyptus extract ) and the sensitivity of Ecc bacteria to six Antibiotics:(Cefotaxime , Methoprim , Gentamycin , Cephalexin , Amikacin and Nitrofurantoi) and using of bacillus cereus as a biological control element. Many experiments were carried out to know the inhibitory ability of this bacterium on the Ecc.
