| Abstract | ||
| Abstract An experiment was conducted to study the effect of covering device type on the performance of disc grain drill at different seeding speeds. at the Kufa Technical Institute (silty - clay loam soil). The experiments was carried out with a double disk drill (S.Z-3.6) in order to compare the ability of three covering methods ) spring tines and spring tine with addition a subside tongue between opener discs and directory covering two scrapers) . The other factor was the seeding speed with four levels ( 5 , 7 ,7, 11 ) Km/h . The indicators of seed distribution uniformity (seed depth, lateral soil throw and seed distribution uniformity at the vertical and horizontal levels) and emergence percentage of seedlings emergence was studied at this research.
