| Abstract | ||
| Histologically , the rabbit eye consist of three circular Layers involved , fibrous external layer , represented by Sclera and cornea , their thiekness means were (167 + 3.2, 150 + 2.4) micrometer respectively . The second(vascular middle) layer , composed of choroid, ciliary body and iris .The thickness means of choroid and ciliary body were(15.4 + 1.6 , 50 + 1.14) micrometer respectively. the ciliary body composed of suspensory fibrous ligaments , either the choroid was highly vascular with the presence of melano phores . The internal layer of the rabbit eyer represented by retina , which has no difference in its histological structure form retina in the lower and higher mammals.the thickness mean of the rabbit retina (127.7 + 6.6) micrometet. | ||
