| The experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of two plows under two soil moisture levels and tractor speed in some performance parameters and soil physical properties. split – split plot design under randomized complete block design with three replications was used in this study .Two plows including sweep plow and chisel plow represent the main plot, two soil moisture levels including 15% and 18% represent subplot and three tractor speed including L1 (2.563),L2 (3.407), L3( 4.748)kmhr were used in this study. Slippage percentage , practical productivity ,fuel consumption and field efficiency and soil physical properties. including bulk density , soil disturb size and soil penetration resistance, soil total porosity were studied in this study .The experiment results showed that the sweep plow was significant superior compared with chisel plow in slippage percentage and all soil physical properties. But the chisel plow was significant superior compared with sweep plow in practical productivity ,fuel consumption and field efficiency. Increase tractors speed caused an increase of slippage percentage, bulk density , soil disturb size and soil penetration resistance. The decrease of soil moisture level caused an increase in all studied properties .The interaction between sweep plow with soil moisture18%gave the best soil physical properties. While the interaction between the chisel plow with soil moisture18%, caused an increase in practical productivity , field efficiency, and fuel consumption.. The interaction between sweep plow with practical speed L1- 2.563kmhr gave the best soil physical properties. While chisel plow with practical speed L3- 4.748kmh gave the best in some performance parameters and soil physical properties caused an increase in practical productivity , soil disturb size but decrease fuel consumption. The interaction between sweep plow with soil moisture 18% and practical speed L1- 2.563kmhr caused an increase in slippage percentage, bulk density , soil penetration resistance and decrease soil total porosity. while the interaction between chisel plow with soil moisture 18% and practical speed L3- 4.748kmh caused an increase in practical productivity ,soil disturb size ,but decrease fuel consumption. |
