| This study have been conducted in the poultry farm in the technical college Al-Musayab to investigate the effect of using magnetic water in drinking on some hematological traits of broiler chicken from 18th March till 30th April / 2009 by using 200 broiler chicks (Hubbard Classic) which were devided randomly into 4 treatments (2 replicates per treatment , 25 chicks per replicate), the experiment treatments were included using the magnetic water at the following intensities : 0 ,500, 1000, 1500 Gausses as first ,second ,third and fourth treatments ( T1,T2,T3 and T4) respectively, the using of these treatments have been occurred during the entire period of experiments (6 weeks) to study it's effect on red and white blood cells counts, hematocrit , hemoglobin concentration , heterophil / lymphocyte ratio and concentration of glucose, total protein and cholesterol in blood plasma The results revealed that drinking magnetically - treated water (T3 and T4) lead to highly significant increase (p < 0.01) in red and white blood cells counts , hematocrit , hemoglobin concentration and concentration of total protein and glucose in blood plasma as compared with control treament (T1) , highly significant decrease (p < 0.01) in heterophil / lymphocyte ratio and concentration of cholesterol in blood plasma as compared with control treament (T1) while (T2) is superior highly significant (p < 0.01) on (T1) in some blood traits (positive superiority) but don’t differ significantly with it in other traits. The (T4) is give the best results as compared with T2 and T3 |
