| Abstract | ||
| This study was conducted at the Department of plant protection, College of Agriculture, University of Basrah to evaluate the efficiency of the bacteria Pseudomonas fluorescens and the fungus Trichoderma harzianum against the growth of Rhizoctonia solani and control the root and stalk rot Disease caused by this fangs. The Result showd that bacteria P.fluorescens and the fungus T.harzianum revealed hight suppression to the growth of the pathogen R.solani on the substrate (PDA). Also the results of field experiment indicated that the bacteria P.fluorescens alone or the fungus T.harzianum alone or the intraction between them reduced the rate of infection withy R.solani about 26.66 , 26.82 , 24.94 % respectively , the same result was obtained when used 100 grains which was about 189.11 , 183.6 and 193.1 gm respectively . also these treatments increased the rate of production about 42.46 , 40.73 and 43.65 % respectively , compared with the treatment of pathogen . | ||
