| The Symbols in Arabic poetry this study deals with the symbol in Arabic poetry because it is one of the subjects that excite celibate . The study includes an introduction in which the researcher explains that symbolism was culminant in Iraq in 1941. Many poets adopted symbolism at that time because of political reasons . The study sheds light on symbolism as a linguistic term . It reveals symbol in the ancient Arabic poetry through the knowledge of poets of legend and its use in their poems as in zuhair , Umru'a Al-Quis , and others . The symbol was not crystallized as a concept till the asbassid Eraby Bashar Bin Burd who could violate the common linguistic rules through the adoption of senses correspondence which mean that all senses could produce united psychological impression . The study deals with the Arab poets who were affected by the new symbolism which come from over seas . The researcher mentions sa'eed Aql , Adeep mudhhir , Mahmoud Hasan Ismail and Yousif Ghasoub in the study . He wrote some of their poems . Then the researcher distinguishes "the symbol in Iraqi poetry" and he mentions Al-Shibibi , Al-Jubouri , Al-Jawahiri , Al-Sayyab , Safa' Al-Haidari , Hasab Al-Shaikh Ja'afar , Abdul – Razzaq Abdul-Wahed and Others to conclude that Iraqi poetry was not far from what was going on . The study ends up with the conclusions arrived at a bibliography . | ||
