| The variables enormous witnessed by the world at the end of the last century and the beginning of the new century and especially after the collapse of the socialist camp and the uniqueness of the capitalist camp sovereignty and control over the world and the scientific development of the world of communications that has turned the world into a small village and the resulting all of this from different reactions when it was known as globalization all of this has caused a number of contemporary philosophers and thinkers to review a number of traditional concepts in political philosophy, notably the concept of citizenship and state sovereignty, civil society and human rights, etc. of the concepts which have long been cracking due to changes in our political and economic. In this paper we would like to stop at the concept of citizenship in which we highlight the origins and evolution of philosophical significance, and there we take the most prominent contemporary challenges to this concept and of A - racial and ethnic diversity and the multiplicity of identities within the same country and this poses a threat to diversity of citizenship. B - globalization and global terrorism and the threat they represented to the sovereignty and independence of nations and its impact on citizenship. | ||
