| Abstract | ||
| This stady was conducted in the greenhouse of the Technical Institute / Musaib during 2005-2006 season to investigate the effect of sprays number of defferrent levels from polysulfide ( 0.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0 ) cm3 /liter on growth and yield of cucumber, Cv. Empirtor, under green house condition. Results show that the highest average of plant height, leaves, branches, flowers number/plant and set percentage were realized at the interaction of 5cm3/litar of the foliar fertilizer with 3 sprays . However, fruit longth, number of fruits/plant and fruit weight were 21.2cm, 63.2 fruit and 110.6gm respectively as compared to 10.3cm fruit long, 27.6 fruit/plant and 92.2gm fruit weight respectively of the control treatment. This was resulted in the significant increase of the yield/plant and early maturation as well as total yield of the single greenhouse ( i.e, 6.36kg, 0.980 ton and 9.671 ton respectively ) | ||
